Hello parents! I hope all of you mothers were appreciated and even spoiled yesterday on Mother’s Day. You certainly deserve it!

Waters Cool

The grade 3/4 class has been invited to participate in an educational field trip on Friday, May 20. “Waters Cool” is an interactive all-day educational presentation put on by The Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group and the Town of Stratford. Students will spend the day learning about topics such as…

  • Water conservation in and outside the home
  • Water cycle
  • Groundwater
  • Wetlands
  • Buffer zones
  • Forestry
  • Watersheds

Be on the lookout for a permission form coming home soon. Also, please note that we will be leaving school early, at 8:45, and students must be on time.

Bible Verse

Students are down to their last verse! This one is due on June 9.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”  Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22:36-40
