GCS Grades 3 and 4

The Adventures of Mrs. Bouter's Class

Week of May 13th to May 17th

on May 12, 2013

Hello and Happy Mothers Day! The showers may have dampened some plans for today, but it certainly comes after some beautiful sunny days. The students have really enjoyed the weather. In fact, this past week we opted to eat outside because it was so nice!

Once again I want to take the opportunity to thank you all for the privilege of teaching your children. This class has seen some change, but I’m really enjoying how we are growing together as a class!

This Tuesday we are looking forward to viewing the Peter Pan play. We are looking for additional drivers for the morning. If you are available to drive, please let us know. Additionally, this past week the Grade 3 class has been working on reading comprehension tasks in preparation for  the upcoming Grade 3 provincial literacy assessments which are scheduled to begin this Wednesday and Thursday.

Other dates to note include:

Monday: Penmanship Test

Tuesday: Grade 4 Language test.

Friday: Grade 3 and 4 Math test and Spelling test.

Thank you again. As always, if you ever have any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to send me an email or meet with me after school.

Mr Keith Belbin.
