Our class has enjoyed the winter weather so much! It has been a delight to watch the children playing on our sledding hill. On milder days, even pants get soaked underneath snow pants. Along with the extra pair of socks, students may want to keep an extra pair of gym pants in their cubbies.
Our class has set a wonderful example for the younger students of how to take turns, share sleds, and follow instructions. Many teachers have complimented them on how well they’ve been doing at recess time. That is music to this teacher’s ears! Bravo, class!
This week, both grades three and four will be working on their book reports for The Mouse and the Motorcycle and Saved at Sea. As the students are finishing reading aloud their final chapters at home, I encourage you to discuss and review the story together. The children will be working on different writing assignments nightly for their projects, and we will have one day scheduled to work on the reports in class. Both book reports will be due on Monday, January 28th.
Please take the time to review our class newsletter for the week. January 21 Newsletter.
I have also included the verses we’ve been learning for the month of January. John14 12 to 22 The Bible Verse Test will take place at the beginning of next week.
Have a wonderful week.
